In order to configure MTNL Trump 3G / GPRS /
Now click the soft Settings button again and then select Add New APN – Give a name to these new APN Settings first and Enter the Following settings
MTNL 3G APN Settings For Delhi
APN ppshsdpa
PROXY 172.16.31.10
PORT 9201 (for delhi )
USERNAME mtnl
PASSWORD mtnl123
MTNL 3G APN Settings For Mumbai
APN gprsmtnlmum
PROXY 172.16.39.10
PORT 9401 (for mumbai )
USERNAME mtnl
PASSWORD mtnl123
Authentication Type – PAP
Now go to Settings >> Wireless & Networks >> Mobile Network Settings and then click Network Operators and select Dolphin if you are in delhi.
Note: If any of the above settings does not work Go to Dialer and dial *#*#4636#*#* and make sure that the phone connection “WCDMA Only” and NOT GSM ONLY, then you should get the signal. Still if you face problem in configuring mtnl 3G please let us know through comments.

plz help me...
I used m.n.p. and switched to dolphin prepaid(primarily for3g).
But i am not able to use 3g on my phone.
i am in delhi and my handset is Nokia 5800XM. I tried all of the above settings you have written but everytime it says: "packet data connection not available".
i've called mtnl customer care 100 times but with no use. everytime they say one of the following two:-
a) send an sms writing your handset model (for manual settings) - the sms has never delivered.. everytime it says msg sending failed
b) call at 01123627494 but it is also never reachable
plz tell if there's a third option,,, thanx in advance..
According to customer care executive of MTNL set the GPRS setting on your mobile if your handset is 3g enabled then u can access the 3g speed on your mobile automaticaly against GPRS setting.
