How to Run iPhone Apps on iPad in Native Resolution

There are lot of apps out there which are basically developed for iPhone/iPod Touch, but works oniPad as well. However, the problem with such apps is that you cannot take advantage of iPad’s bigger screen because if you try to enlarge the app’s display, it gets pixelated.

So, here is a tutorial which works for most of the apps. With this trick you can enlarge app’s display size without making it pixelated.

Prerequisites:

• Your iPad should be jailbroken.
• OpenSSH should be installed.
• WinSCP should be installed.

Steps to run iPhone apps on iPad without pixelation:

1. Connect iPad with computer.

2. Login to OpenSSH.

Note: Close iTunes before proceeding to next step.

3. Go to /var/mobile/Applications/directory.

4. Select the desired application.

5. Find its info.plist file and edit it as below:

6. Save info.plist.

7. Disconnect iPad and reboot it.

Now, the app which you selected should work in full screen on iPad, without pixelation. You can perform this hack for as many app as you want.

Caution: This hack, if not performed properly, can result in loss of data or iPad can stop working. So, perform it at your own risk.
