Backup Your Google Data
Google said that they would “never trap user data“, but you still need to know how to backup your Google data locally in case something happens to your Google account (e.g. Google ate your emails)
Lifehacker (and Matt Cutts) offers tutorials that Google users can backup their Google data within a few steps. The Lifehacker tutorial includes:
- Automatically back up your Gmail account
- Back up and sync Google Calendar
- Download and back up your Google Docs and Spreadsheets
- Back up Google Reader subscriptions
- Back up your Blogger blog
My most important Google data are the email contacts, the chat records, and the photos. If you can only pick data of three services to backup, which ones would you pick?
